More Allied Health Services (MAHS) Program
The MAHS Program is an Australian Government initiative which aims to provide rural and remote communities (in RRMA 4-7 area) with increased access to Allied Health Services. Within the Capricornia Division, this includes people living in the Gladstone and Capricorn Coast areas.

Allied Health Services provided by the Division under this program include:
- Physiotherapy
- Diabetes Education
- Dietitian Services
- Podiatry
- Occupational Therapy
- Exercise Physiology

GP Eligibility
All GPs practising within the Capricornia Division boundaries can refer eligible patients to MAHS services.
Patient Eligibility
All patients residing in the Capricorn Coast and Gladstone areas (postcodes 4703, 4710, 4680, 4694, 4695, 4697 & 4699) are eligible to be referred to MAHS services. Patients with chronic conditions who would benefit from a multidisciplinary care plan should will be given priority to these services.
